Le Grand Concours: National French Contest
This year, Palmer Trinity School is proud to announce that all of our French students from grades 7 to 12 will be participating in "Le Grand Concours," the National French Contest. Here are the key details:
- What: Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF). - Format: Students will take a written multiple-choice test to assess their French language skills. - Scope: The contest is national, with participants from all 50 states and even abroad. - Competition Dates: Our students will compete between February13- April 7, 2025. - Preparation: All students are already registered and have been provided with materials to practice for the AATF exam.
Benefits of Participation 1. National Recognition: Students have the opportunity to compete on a national level. 2. Rewards: Participants can win prizes including medals, certificates, and more. 3. Skill Assessment: The contest provides a standardized measure of French language proficiency. 4. Motivation: Preparing for the contest encourages students to enhance their language skills.
